Travel day: We’re in the Lakes District!

So as the title suggests today was not the most riveting of days.

I did vlog it as unfortunately many things did go wrong, including: train delays, train cancellations, altering route, adding a stop, bus replacements etc etc. Hopefully this will provide more entertainment for you than it did for me. I also almost had a meltdown when I realised that I lost all the footage and editing of a 35minute vlog I had been working on throughout the trains today to cover the 4 days in London. I was on track to post it tonight but now since I have to start from scratch it’ll just have to happen eventually.

Honestly I’m completely shattered after all those shenanigans so I won’t be doing a recap as I have been doing, just a gallery to give you an idea of my views for the day. I haven’t been getting nearly enough sleep the last couple of days, so hopefully an early(er) night tonight will help me refresh for the hot girl promenade of the century.

I am so excited to get stuck into the hiking part of our travels- we’re doing 20km per day for 6 days in the Lakes District where we are now in Ambleside. Slightly apprehensive about how challenging these days are going to be but I’m sure I’ll pull through. Tomorrow’s weather is also forecasting torrential rain so I’m not exactly thrilled about that.

ALSO YES Ambleside is so stunning and gorgeous and I want to move here immediately ok goodnight!

Pray for my socks to stay dry :)
